Yet such a song should be considered "world heritage" and not anymore be locked by any ©opyrights! Thus I'm pretty sure Mr Cohen himself would agree with me! Are lawyers and beneficiaries so heartless that they couldn't understand such a cover would simply be an "homage" and certainly not an attempt...

"John Mayer Style in E" is really good demonstration of what anyone benefit studying the masters... ;-) John is obviously guitar virtuoso but also wonderful song writer! Pretty good stuff if you wanna get close to Steve's tone but pretty hard to get bluesy sound out of these pups...
A friend of mine got this gear he uses as he plays his fusionish stuff but goes back to his Tele loaded with Lollars when coming back to the blues ;-)
