Thank you guys for your encouraging words and advice. Ratfinkdan, your advice about the mixing levels makes perfect sence to me. I have often encountered this problem before, but will make sure I listen harder next time to get the levels more even. For a "slight beginner" this was too good...

As HBL said, it is a matter of personal taste. Less distortion would probably have sounded just as good to those who prefer a cleaner tone. Myself, personally, thought you sounded great . Your tone fit the piece very well in my ears, and your playing was excellent

Thank you HBL for the review and advice. I do try to incorprate vibrato in to long sustained notes, guess my technique just doesn't pick up on the recordings as well as it does live, but that could be for the reasons you stated.
