Joe Bonamassa sold some gear in that auction. I believe it was a gold sparkle Strat that raised 30,000 dollars.

Great song Blackhorse! The beginning reminded me a little bit of Eric Johnson. Please post some more songs. All your songs have something special to them.

Re: eric and joe...
Its funny, me and my grandpa were just talking about how much more louder and fuller Bonamassa's tone and how he could outplay Eric. :music2: In this 3 part interview with Musicians Friend, he shows his gear which i think is pretty amazing  (and really expensive). :tears: http://www.youtu...

Re: Bona Who?
Hey Strummer! I would have to rate Black Rock a good 7 out of 10. He does a great duet with BB King on Night Life and has some good songs like Blue and Evil and Spanish Boots. I would get it if you have the Royal Albert Hall CD. If you dont have the RAH CD then get that one first. RAH is like...

Re: Bona Who?
Joe is better live than on the album in my opinion. Hisbacking band was really good. Its hard to describe how good they were. Joe has the best bass player and drummer i have ever seen. Among the songs he played 3 really stuck out to me, If Heartaches Were Nickels, Woke Up Dreaming,...

Re: mayer/urban
It is actually Keith Urban. Living outside of Nashville I hear the name alot.Blackhorse wrote:'m a Mayer fan, and I love the tones he can get from a strat, but Karl Urban has a great tone and plays a very nice solo in that clip, and his guitar looks like a beauty.

Since golfxzq is out of town i have the les paul with me. I have fooled around with it and it sounds great. These are great sounding pickup for the price. The fat pats are really smooth going clean to fuzz face type tones. Cant wait to post a soundclip of the guitar with golfxzq!
